Britt Searles
Britt Searles unwittingly began her yoga journey as a child when her mother would use breathing exercises to lull her to sleep. An avid dancer, as an adult Britt pursued yoga when dance classes became harder to find in the remote area where she lived. Her formal yoga training began with a 30 hour vinyasa workshop through NETA. After that, she began guiding gentle vinyasa and chair yoga classes at the local YMCA.
She completed her 250 hour teacher training in January of 2020 at Yoga Olas, with Megan, Jenn, and the rest of the beautiful YO staff. In 2024 Britt completed Reiki I and II training.
Britt guides primarily vinyasa flow, and loves combining movement and breath to create a moving meditation. She often uses poetry to guide intention setting, and enjoys curating music to set the tone of the practice. She strongly believes that yoga is a practice for everybody, and every body.
When not guiding yoga, Britt can be found reading, skiing, or enjoying nature.
