Dr. Laura Williams PT, DPT, RYT

A lifelong dancer, Laura began her yoga study in 2000 in her hometown of Evanston, IL, to support her training. After graduating from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle with a BFA in Dance, Laura obtained her 200-hr Yogaworks teacher training in 2007. She has been teaching private and group classes for 10 years. She danced professionally in Seattle and Boulder for 6 years, and in 2017, graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Laura is now completing a yearlong internship at the Heart of the Rockies with an emphasis on Women’s Health PT. She is also certified in Yoga for Pelvic Pain, and believes in the power of Yoga to help calm the nervous system, allow mindful and pain-free movement, and return to full function.  She blends her decade of teaching experience with deep anatomical understanding to offer Vinyasa classes that are accessible to everyone through modifications, hands-on adjustments and attention to alignment. She is thrilled to be joining the Yoga Olas family in 2018!
