Brook Moniger spent her younger years tumbling and twirling as a competitive gymnast for more than 10 years. Her first job was teaching gymnastics to the younger girls at her gym, and she continued to teach throughout high school and a few years during college. When she was introduced to yoga in her early 20’s it was like a match made in heaven. The flexibility she gained from years of gymnastics helped her to feel at home on a yoga mat but, it was the profound mental and spiritual aspects of yoga that truly captivated and fascinated her. A deep rooted love, connection, and respect for this ancient tradition lead her to become a yoga teacher, to share with others the bounty and beauty of the practice. She strives to combine a fun loving, playful attitude with awareness, intention, and self compassion each and every time she steps onto the mat. Brook is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher (ryt) with yoga alliance and is trained in various styles including hatha, vinyasa, yin, meditation, & pranayama. She continues to expand her education and experience through regular practice, workshops, texts, and trainings.
